The Hollies - Everyday (Buddy Holly cover)

Last night, I absolutely hated this album. Right now, it’s becoming one of my favourite albums of theirs. This is probably my favourite track.

I have a question, though, and I need your help. You know near the end when all three of them start singing (“The gentle tones of Allan, Tony and Terry all serenading intimate versions of three Holly numbers gently fade out the final cover version on this excellent tribute album”, as the liner notes say) different Buddy Holly songs? Who sings what? My earphones are really shitty and I can’t tell. Lynn, do you know?

My verdict:

Words of Love = Allan.

Listen to Me = Tony (thought it was Terry at first, but on closer inspection of the inflections I’m sure it’s Tone).

Love is Strange = Terry.
